Our story

Harvest Moon Homestead was formed in theory many years ago when I started vegetable gardening. It has slowly grown into a full-blown, ever-expanding obsession with the addition of 5 acres of land, 10 chickens, 6 rabbits, and 2 apiaries (oh and 2 dogs and a toddler!). Our focus is sustainability, for both the environment and self-reliability. My goal is to make and grow as much as I can to support my family and community and to shepherd the land in the process.
